Myrtle Point Skatepark
The skate park just opened two weeks ago (Oct. 22, 2001) and consists of two big enjoyable boxes in the center, a large radius 4′ tall u-bowl on the west end, a vert corner next to a really awesome sloping coping (for grinding) corner in the Northeast area, and three connected bowls ranging height from about 5′ to 7′ to a nice big 10′ mega bowl that is good and square with lots of flat bottom in the south east corner of The skate park. square footage is approximately . 10,000. Workmanship is great, with perfect coping (for grinding) everywhere and all very smooth concrete is sssmmoooooottthh. I think it is another beautiful park by Red and the boys. Watch out for small kids and flying BMX’ers, somebody on a bike came out of nowhere when I was dropping in and gave me a good shiner when I was there.
