Tyler is a third-year at UC Berkeley and has been skating since 7th grade. He places a lot of emphasis on holistic development of his clients, and can teach proper injury/soreness recovery, risk assessment, and dynamic warm-ups to get you right! Anything from freestyle tricks, to airing out of vert, to double varials, to carving up hills, he is willing to teach. As an experienced swim instructor (going on 4 years), he is very patient, empathetic, and knowledgeable when it comes to clients that are a little bit scared, so do not worry if you’re trying to learn something that’s a bit out of your comfort zone. Tyler’s goal is to help develop his clients into healthy, well-rounded, creative athletes that skate with confidence, freedom, and most importantly, fun.
