Matthew grew up in Midlothian Texas teaching new friends there how to skate. It was a great way to meet new friends, teach good habits, and meet people of many different backgrounds and experiences.
Patience is key, and having ADHD he is able to be understanding, slow things down, (or speed them up,) and be safe while doing so.
He has grown up on everything from longboards to skateparks, since he was 12 and is comfortable teaching even beyond his own skill set, due to being familiar with the fundamentals.
Having an associate’s in game design, skating is a good way to get outdoors while developing his portfolio.
Matthew is accepting of all backgrounds, religions, sexualities and genders, having learned so much from all he’s met through his years, and being excited to share what he’s learned with others now.
He naturally finds himself helping kids at parks and telling them how to get the best yield out of their tricks, and looks forward to contributing to healthy outlets.
