My obsession with skateboarding started at the age of 12 as a day-to-day lifestyle. Growing up I skated religiously by keeping a daily routine of going to school, coming home, eating a snack, then going out and skating until dark. Even though I’ve never had any sponsors, I did place second in a few local competitions when I was 15 and 16 years old while growing up in Dallas, TX. I even had the privilege of attending Woodward Skate Camp in Pennsylvania.

Eventually college and “real life” got in the way, but I’ve always owned a skateboard and made sure I can still do my favorite tricks. Some of the best moments in life simply involved watching skate videos and skating with my friends, or persistently figuring out new tricks in my parent’s driveway. Basically I learned how to teach myself and other people. I am a very patient instructor because the sport never came naturally to me, so I had to learn the hard way until it turned into the smart way (to where the basics started feeling natural). The game may have evolved a lot technically over the years, but I can still teach the basics (and plenty of intermediate tricks) to those who are eager to learn.

Skateboarding is one of the best activities I’ve ever pursued and I would love to safely share that with you or your kids. I do live in the Sandy Springs / Dunwoody area; hit me up for lessons and let’s GO SKATE!
