I was employed by the Brentwood YMCA for close to 2 years my job title was Youth Staff but I was the skatepark attendant. I was personally selected to become their own skateboarding instructor in 2009 after placing 2nd place advanced in their own annual skatepark competition. I was paid double my hourly rate when giving lessons to entry level beginners mainly but I am able to teach everything from technical flip tricks manual grinds grabs and transition ramp skating (transition is my specialty) |
I’ve given drum lessons but no one on one skate lessons just helping people at sessions figure things out. I have basic flip tricks and ledge tricks. Smith grinds and airs on transition. I know more about drawing lines than technical tricks. I’ve been a downhill racer for 7 years and have all the skills that go along with riding skateboards down mountain passes. |
I look forward to teaching skateboarding but would feel comfortable teaching many flip tricks and transition tricks.
Billy has given lessons for almost a year in Murfreesboro at Oblique Indoor park. He have helped less advanced kids learn how to skate better whether it be riding or doing flip tricks or grinds or dropping in on the ramps. Tricks are Olliekick/heel flips 360 flips switch/nolliehardflips,etc. He also can teach tricks on different transitions. HE IS A CERTIFIED SKATE INSTRUCTOR. |
