I have taught many of my friends how to skateboard and they recommend me to other people if they are trying to learn how to skate. I am the ‘go to’ guy in my town and surrounding area if someone wants to learn how to skate. I have a deep bag of flat ground ledge rail and stair set tricks. I also have some transition tricks too. I know all of the basics in every position and I know many advanced tricks like the Hardflip bigflip and fullcab flip just to name a few. I have also attended the Woodward skate camp in Pennsylvania two years in a row. |
I have provided lessons as well as safety instructions and tips.As far as “tech tricks” go I am a master. In case of difficulty of the trick, I can easily educate anyone from a toddler to flow rider on virtually anything. My arsenal of basic flat ground tricks is infinite. Some personal favorites would include nollie 360 heel flips and tre flips (as well as regular) plasma spins Switch hard flips and Casper flips. I have mastered every variation of no comply tricks. Aside from flat ground mini ramps and half-pipes (preferably 8ft or smaller) is no challenge for me personally nor would they be a challenge for me educate a novice rider on. tricks here would include blunt stalls front side and back side disasters. blunt pivots 360 flip to smith stalls and crooked grind as well as much more basic stuff. Not only could successfully teach tricks but also simply more important things in example board control landing techniques bail techniques and even character building for younger clients. |
Stephen has given lessons for two years while managing/riding for Ambler Skateshop as well as some independent lessons to private customers over the last year. As far as most advanced tricks that he could teach, it really depends on the terrain that the rider is trying to learn on. He is much more proficient in terms of street skating, especially flip tricks. In terms of transition skating, he is rated above average. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS MAKES A GOOD INSTRUCTOR, just like Stephen! |
