Woods Cross is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 9,761 as of the 2010 census. Woods Cross is named after Daniel Wood, an early settler.
Woods Cross is located at 40°52′32″N 111°54′26″W / 40.87556°N 111.90722°W / 40.87556; -111.90722 (40.875437, -111.907111).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km²), all of it land.
As of 2009 estimates, there were 8,888 people, 1,936 households, and 1,589 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,783.2 people per square mile (688.4/km²). There were 2,021 housing units at an average density of 561.4 per square mile (216.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 93.75% White, 0.44% African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.70% Asian, 0.26% Pacific Islander, 2.55% from other races, and 2.04% from two or more races. Discover all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Woods Cross skate park.
