Winnett is a town in and the county seat of Petroleum County, Montana, United States. The population was 185 at the 2000 census.
Winnett is located at 47°0′16″N 108°21′4″W / 47.00444°N 108.35111°W / 47.00444; -108.35111 (47.004381, -108.351052).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 185 people, 87 households, and 52 families residing in the town. The population density was 190.4 people per square mile (73.6/km²). There were 124 housing units at an average density of 127.6 per square mile (49.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.46% White, and 0.54% from two or more races.

A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
