Willow City is a city in Bottineau County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 163 at the 2010 census. Willow City was founded in 1889.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 221 people, 100 households, and 62 families residing in the city. The population density was 486.8 people per square mile (189.6/km²). There were 143 housing units at an average density of 315.0 per square mile (122.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 92.31% White, 0.00% African American, 2.26% Native American, and 4.52% from two or more races.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
