West Blocton is a town in Bibb County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 1,372.
West Blocton is located at 33°7′7″N 87°7′22″W / 33.11861°N 87.12278°W / 33.11861; -87.12278 (33.118733, -87.122875).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.7 square miles (12 km), of which, 4.7 square miles (12 km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (0.42%) is water. This community is considered the terminus of the Appalachian Mountains.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,372 people, 532 households, and 389 families residing in the town. The population density was 291.7 people per square mile (112.7/km²). There were 599 housing units at an average density of 127.4 per square mile (49.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 79.74% White, 19.53% Black or African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.15% from other races, and 0.44% from two or more races. 0.22% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
