Waynesburg is a borough in and the county seat of Greene County, Pennsylvania, United States, 60 miles (97 km) southwest of Pittsburgh. The population was 4,184 at the 2000 census.
The region is underlaid with several strata of coking coal, including the Pittsburgh No. 8 seam, the Waynesburg seam and the Sewickley, or Mapletown seam. The area is also rich with coalbed methane, which is currently being developed from the several underlying coal seams as an alternative fuel source. At one time, there were also natural gas and oil deposits in the area. The Marcellus Shale, the largest domestic natural gas reserve, is currently being developed in Waynesburg and throughout Greene County. Early in the twentieth century, four large gas compressing stations and a shovel factory were located in Waynesburg. It is named after General “Mad” Anthony Wayne who served with George Washington in the Revolutionary War.
Waynesburg is home to Waynesburg University and to Greene County Airport.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Be taught all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
