Vass is a town in Moore County, North Carolina in the United States. The population was 750 at the 2000 census. Vass grew up along the railroad in the late 19th century. It was originally named Bynum and later Winder before being established as Vass in 1892. The town was incorporated in 1907.
Vass is located at 35°15′23″N 79°16′51″W / 35.25639°N 79.28083°W / 35.25639; -79.28083 (35.256450, -79.280970).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.8 km), of which 3.0 square miles (7.8 km) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) (0.66%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 750 people, 304 households, and 207 families residing in the town. The population density was 247.8 people per square mile (95.6/km²). There were 351 housing units at an average density of 116.0 per square mile (44.7/km²). Find out all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
