Tower City is a borough in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,396 at the 2000 census.
Tower City is located at 40°35′20″N 76°33′12″W / 40.58889°N 76.55333°W / 40.58889; -76.55333 (40.588869, -76.553282).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,396 people, 608 households, and 383 families residing in the borough. The population density was 4,546.8 people per square mile (1,738.7/km²). There were 684 housing units at an average density of 2,227.8 per square mile (851.9/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 98.85% White, 0.21% African American, 0.50% from other races, and 0.43% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.86% of the population.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Be taught all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
