Springwater is a town in Livingston County, New York, United States. The population was 2,322 at the 2000 census.
The Town of Springwater is in the southeast part of the county.
The first settlers arrived around 1807. The town was established in 1816 from the Towns of Sparta and Naples (Naples is a town in Ontario County, New York).
In 1866, a serious conflict between landowners and squatters, resulted in the wholesale eviction of many people who were not living on their own land.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 53.3 square miles (138 km), of which, 53.3 square miles (138 km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (0.08%) is water.
The south town line is the border of Steuben County, and the east town line is the border of Ontario County.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
