Spencers Brook is a district in Western Australia located between the towns of Northam and York, about 95 kilometres (60 mi) east of the state capital, Perth. At the 2006 census, Spencers Brook had a population of 195.
It was an important junction point on the Eastern Railway. It was opened in 1886 as a stage of the Chidlow to Northam railway. It was operating as a stopping place from 1888 at 50 miles 44 chains (81.35 km) from Perth.
Spencers Brook was the location of railway tearooms and a watering tank tower as it was a significant stop in the pre-1966 era of steam locomotives. It was just west of the junction where the Eastern railway continued to Northam, and the Great Southern Railway continued to Albany.
Spencers Brook is home to the historical Spencers Brook Tavern established in 1884 and to the Muresk Institute, Curtin University’s school of agribusiness, applied biosciences and environmental biology.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
