Sneads is a town in Jackson County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,919 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 1,911 .
Sneads is located at 30°42′35″N 84°55′33″W / 30.70972°N 84.92583°W / 30.70972; -84.92583 (30.709836, -84.925869).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.6 square miles (12 km). 4.4 square miles (11 km) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km) of it (4.54%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,919 people, 796 households, and 554 families residing in the town. The population density was 434.0 inhabitants per square mile (167.6/km²). There were 887 housing units at an average density of 200.6 per square mile (77.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 79.05% White, 16.78% African American, 0.89% Native American, 0.10% Asian, 1.93% from other races, and 1.25% from two or more races. Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop.   • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Sneads skate park.
