Siloam is an ancient Greek name derived from the more ancient Hebrew Shiloah. The Arabic, Silwan, was derived form the Greek, Siloam. It is an ancient site in Jerusalem, south of the Old City.
According to the Hebrew Bible, the ancient community of Siloam was built around the “serpent-stone”, Zoheleth, where Adonijah gave his feast in the time of Solomon. Siloam is the site of the Pool of Siloam, the outlet of the waters of the Gihon Spring. According to the Christian New Testament, this is the site where Jesus healed a man blind from birth as described in the Gospel of John, and the legendary Tower of Siloam, whose collapse is an omen in the Gospel of Luke.
The Siloam inscription was discovered in the water tunnel built during the reign of Hezekiah, in the early 7th Century BC. The Siloam inscription is now preserved in the Archeological Museum of Istanbul, Turkey. Do you want to learn skateboarding?

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Discover all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Siloam skate park.
