Sicklerville is an unincorporated community located primarily within Winslow Township, Camden County, New Jersey. It was founded in 1851 by John Sickler, who lived in the area where the present-day town is located within Gloucester Township. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08081.
As of the census of 2000, there were 42,891 people, 14,066 households, and 11,342 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,847 people per square mile (156.0/km²). There were 14,811 housing units at an average density of 172.8/sq mi (66.7/km²). The racial make-up of the town is 68.2% White, 26.3% African American, 0.3% Native American, 2.1% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 1.1% from other races, and 1.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.5% of the population.

A 2023 report by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Sicklerville skate park.
