Shady Dale is a town in Jasper County, Georgia, United States. The population was 242 at the 2000 census.
Shady Dale is located at 33°23′58″N 83°35′24″W / 33.39944°N 83.59°W / 33.39944; -83.59 (33.399562, -83.589937).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km), all of it land. It is home to the Silver Bullet Hunting club.
As of the census of 2000, there were 242 people, 88 households, and 60 families residing in the town. The population density was 290.2 people per square mile (112.6/km²). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 106.7 per square mile (41.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 65.29% White, 28.10% African American, 6.61% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.61% of the population.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Shady Dale skate park.
