Sea Island is an affluent resort island located in the barrier islands just off the Atlantic coast of southern Georgia in the United States. The resort complex is located in an unincorporated Glynn County.
Sea Island is part of the group of islands known as the Golden Isles of Georgia, which include Jekyll Island, St. Simons Island, and Little St. Simons Island. Visitors to the resort island travel across a long causeway that crosses marshland. This area was immortalized by 19th-century poet Sidney Lanier in ‘The Marshes of Glynn” (1878).
This relatively secluded area has drawn developers and other investors since the first two decades of the 20th century:

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Sea Island skate park.
