Schnellville is an unincorporated town in Jefferson Township, Dubois County, Indiana.
Schnellville was founded by a German named Henry Schnell. Henry Schnell was born October 22, 1821 in Hesse, Germany to Henry and Marie Schnell. At the age of 25, he set off to find a new place that he would call home. After reaching the United States, he found work on a steamboat, the railroad, and the Erie Canal. He then returned to Germany to find that his wife and son had died. After hearing this news, he returned to the United States and settled in Dubois County after purchasing 40 acres (160,000 m) of land. He then sold the land a few years later and moved to Louisville, Kentucky. After three years there, he returned to Dubois County and bought a farm and kept a country store. He then sold the farm one year later and bought another, two years after, to return to farming. Henry’s dream came true after he found a plot of land that he could see would develop into a town. Do you want to learn skateboarding?

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Discover all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Schnellville skate park.
