Lawrence of Rome (c. 225 – 258) (Latin: Laurentius, meaning “laurelled”) was one of the seven deacons of ancient Rome who were martyred during the persecution of Valerian in 258.
According to lore, among the treasures of the Greek church entrusted to Lawrence for safe-keeping was the Holy Chalice, the cup from which Jesus and the Apostles drank at the Last Supper. Lawrence was able to spirit this away to Huesca, in present day Aragon, with a letter and a supposed inventory, where it lay hidden and unregarded for centuries. Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Saint Lawrence skate park.
