Roxobel is a town in northwestern Bertie County, North Carolina, United States. It dates to 1724 and was originally known as Cotten’s Cross Roads. After several name changes, it has remained Roxobel since 1849. The population was 263 at the 2000 census. Its estimated population in 2009 was 240.
Roxobel is located at 36°12′10″N 77°14′15″W / 36.20278°N 77.2375°W / 36.20278; -77.2375 (36.202704, -77.237566).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 263 people, 112 households, and 72 families residing in the town. The population density was 254.7 people per square mile (98.6/km²). There were 121 housing units at an average density of 117.2 per square mile (45.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 51.33% White, 46.39% African American, 1.52% from other races, and 0.76% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.14% of the population.

A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
