Richardton is a city in Stark County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 529 at the 2010 census. Richardton was founded in 1883. It is part of the Dickinson Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Richardton is home to the Assumption Abbey, a Benedictine Monastery.
Richardton is located at 46°53′05″N 102°18′58″W / 46.884752°N 102.316248°W / 46.884752; -102.316248.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 619 people, 251 households, and 168 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,686.7 people per square mile (645.9/km). There were 285 housing units at an average density of 776.6 per square mile (297.4/km). The racial makeup of the city was 99.35% White, 0.16% African American, 0.16% Native American, 0.16% Asian, and 0.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.32% of the population.

Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 report by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Richardton skate park.
