Red Level is a town in Covington County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 556. The small town is regionally well-known because of the home of Surgeon General Luther Terry who put the cancer warnings on cigarette packages.
Red Level is located at 31°24′28″N 86°36′37″W / 31.407735°N 86.610377°W / 31.407735; -86.610377. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.9 square miles (4.9 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 556 people, 213 households, and 151 families residing in the town. The population density was 296.1 people per square mile (114.2/km²). There were 248 housing units at an average density of 132.1 per square mile (50.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 88.67% White, 10.07% Black or African American, 0.18% Native American, 0.54% from other races, and 0.54% from two or more races.

Learn all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Red Level skate park.
