Rawlings is a sports equipment manufacturing company in the United States. It was founded in 1887. The parent company is Jarden, Inc. Rawlings specializes in baseball equipment, but also manufactures softball, basketball, training equipment and American footballs. They have also recently started making fan gear such as chairs, tents, and bags with team logos on them.
Rawlings has been the official supplier of baseballs to the major leagues since 1977, succeeding Spalding, which had been the supplier for a century.
Rawlings is also the creator of the MLB Gold Glove Award, and sponsors the Minor League Baseball (MiLB) “Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year” award.
Many major leaguers have endorsed Rawlings equipment over the years, especially baseball gloves. There are four main series for the gloves: the Gold Glove Series, the Heart of the Hide Series, the Pro Preferred Series and the Primo Gloves.

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Rawlings skate park.
