Port Trevorton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Snyder County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 451 at the 2000 census.
Port Trevorton is located at 40°41′11″N 76°53′13″W / 40.68639°N 76.88694°W / 40.68639; -76.88694 (40.686397, -76.886956).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.3 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 451 people, 166 households, and 118 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 163.9 people per square mile (63.3/km²). There were 183 housing units at an average density of 66.5/sq mi (25.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.33% White, 0.22% African American, 0.22% Native American and 0.22% Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.22% of the population.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Port Trevorton skate park.
