Peetz is a Statutory Town in Logan County, Colorado, United States. The population was 227 at the 2000 census. Peetz is home to the RE-5 School District and Peetz K-12 School. Peetz is also home to the Peetz Wind Farm.
Peetz is at coordinates 40°57′42″N 103°6′43″W / 40.96167°N 103.11194°W / 40.96167; -103.11194 (40°57′42″N 103°06′43″W / 40.961774°N 103.112064°W / 40.961774; -103.112064).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km), all of it land.
Peetz is located on the Peetz Plateau.
Peetz’s commerce mainly is focused on farming. In the town of Peetz, there is one restaurant/bar, the Hot Spot, a grain elevator and service station, Peetz Co-op, a telephone and internet provider, Peetz Telephone Company, and a laundromat.

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Be taught all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Peetz skate park.
