Peak is a children’s novel by Roland Smith concerning the physical and emotional challenges that face a fourteen-year-old boy as he climbs Mount Everest. It was first published in 2007. Peak won the 2007 National Outdoor Book Award (Children’s Category).
The book is about 14-year-old Peak Marcello and his family. Peak is arrested for scaling the Woolworth Building in Manhattan, New York. While in the court room, the judge decides to let Peak go on one requirement – he must go with his father out of the country to Tibet.
When Peak Marcello and Joshua Wood, his biological father, a famous mountaineer, go to Thailand, Peak is subject to a physical. Josh then reveals that they are going to climb Everest so that Josh’s climbing company can receive more business for sending the youngest person to climb Everest—enough money to retire. Do you want to learn skateboarding?

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Discover all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Peak skate park.
