Overton is a village and parish in Hampshire, England located west of the town of Basingstoke, and east of Andover and Whitchurch. The village of Quidhampton lies to the north of the village. The River Test rises 1 km to the east near the hamlet of Ashe.
There is evidence of early man living in this locality with barrows located near the village. It is host to the quadrennial Overton Sheep Fair (most recently in July 2008), commemorating farmers leading sheep through the village many years ago, as well as the Overton Mummers, who perform frequently over the Yuletide period outside some of the many public houses in the village.
The village is served by Overton railway station on the West of England Main Line, which lies to the north of the village. It is also served by a weekday hourly bus service provided by Stagecoach to Winchester and Andover, both of which continue to form a 30 minute service to Basingstoke.

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Be taught all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Ability: Beginner through Competition-Style Advanced.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Overton skate park.
