Orson was a BRIT Award-winning American rock band from Hollywood, California, formed in 2000.
Originally the band called itself Halogen. Recently, it was also known as Dr. Lady. Their self-financed first album, Bright Idea, released by Mercury Records in 2006, was produced in Los Angeles by Noah Shain and achieved chart success in the UK with the first single, “No Tomorrow”. The album reached number 1 in their respective categories.
The band first played on UK radio during a live session on BBC Radio 2’s Dermot O’Leary Show. Following this they appeared at the 2006 Virgin Mobile V Festival in Staffordshire and Chelmsford in the UK. In Chelmsford, the lead singer exclaimed, “It’s good to be home!” This is because the band moved to London from Los Angeles in 2006.
Lead singer Jason Pebworth said in an interview that the band’s musical influences are Led Zeppelin, Flaming Lips, Beck and Björk.

Learn Skateboarding in a Two Week-Long School

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
