Nora Springs is a city in Cerro Gordo and Floyd Counties in the U.S. state of Iowa, along the Shell Rock River. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 1,532.
The Cerro Gordo County portion of Nora Springs is part of the Mason City Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Nora Springs is located at 43°8′38″N 93°0′32″W / 43.14389°N 93.00889°W / 43.14389; -93.00889 (43.144010, -93.008929).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km), of which, 2.2 square miles (5.7 km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (1.36%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,532 people, 597 households, and 401 families residing in the city. The population density was 700.5 people per square mile (270.1/km²). There were 629 housing units at an average density of 287.6 per square mile (110.9/km²). Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Study all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Nora Springs skate park.
