New Salisbury is an unincorporated community in Jackson Township, Harrison County, Indiana. The community is centered on the intersection of State Highway 135 and State Highway 64, about 8 miles north of Corydon.
New Salisbury has many businesses and homes. Businesses include two gas stations, a grocery store, a drug store, a bank, a veterinarian’s office, doctor offices, a transport company, and a manufacturing company among others. The area is within the North Harrison Community School Corporation.
The area has submitted to the State of Indiana to be incorporated. If approved New Salisbury would be the fourth largest town in Harrison County. Currently the area is governed by the Harrison County Government and represented by a council member on the County Council.
The town was sacked during Morgan’s Raid by the main body of the Confederate Army as it advanced north to Salem where it camped the night of June 9th, 1863.

In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the New Salisbury skate park.
