New Brockton is a town in Coffee County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 1,250. The community was named for Huey E. Brock, settler.
New Brockton is part of the Enterprise–Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area.
New Brockton is located at 31°22′52″N 85°55′28″W / 31.38111°N 85.92444°W / 31.38111; -85.92444 (31.381138, -85.924339).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 8.0 square miles (21 km), of which, 8.0 square miles (21 km) of it is land and 0.12% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,250 people, 465 households, and 336 families residing in the town. The population density was 156.5 people per square mile (60.4/km²). There were 555 housing units at an average density of 69.5 per square mile (26.8/km²). Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the New Brockton skate park.
