New Baden is a village in Clinton County, Illinois, United States. The population was 3,349 at the 2010 census.
New Baden is located at 38°32′8″N 89°42′0″W / 38.53556°N 89.7°W / 38.53556; -89.7 (38.535479, -89.700136).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 3,349 people and 1,247 households. There were 1,333 housing units within the city limits. The racial makeup according to the 2010 census of the village was 92.1% White, 2.7% African American, 0.5% Native American, 1.2% Asian, 0.20% Pacific Islander, 1.0% from other races, and 2.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.4% of the population.
There were 1,247 households out of which 36.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.8% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.0% were non-families. 24.4% of all households…

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Be taught all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the New Baden skate park.
