Naselle is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pacific County, Washington, United States. The population was 419 at the 2010 census. Though very near Columbia River’s estuary, the valley’s Naselle River flows west into nearby Willapa Bay and then into the Pacific Ocean. Close about the town lie the evergreen-covered Willapa Hills. The river’s name has been spelled Nasel and Nasal. An early settler along the river called it the Kenebec. The name comes from the Nisal Indians, a Chinookan tribe formerly residing on the river.
As of the census of 2000, there were 377 people, 160 households, and 110 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 164.6 people per square mile (63.6/km²). There were 184 housing units at an average density of 80.3/sq mi (31.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.57% White, 0.27% African American, 2.12% Native American, 0.53% Asian, and 4.51% from two or more races. Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Naselle skate park.
