Monette is a city in Craighead County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,247 at the 2009 census. It is included in the Jonesboro, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Monette is located at 35°53′27″N 90°20′39″W / 35.89083°N 90.34417°W / 35.89083; -90.34417 (35.890969, -90.344247).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.1 km), all land.
As of the census of 2009, there were 1,247 people,529 households, and 321 families residing in the city. The population density was 721.8 people per square mile (279.3/km²). There were 572 housing units at an average density of 348.3/sq mi (134.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.61% White, 0.08% Black or African American, 0.08% Native American, 1.44% from other races, and 1.78% from two or more races. 2.63% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

Discover all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
