Mole Creek is a town in the upper Mersey Valley, in the central north of Tasmania, Australia. At the 2006 census, Mole Creek had a population of 223. The town primary school also services the surrounding districts including Chudleigh and Caveside. The nearest high school and regional centre is Deloraine. Mole Creek is well known for its honey and accounts for about 35 percent of Tasmania’s honey production including Leatherwood Honey (a noted monofloral honey) which is unique to Tasmania and sold internationally.
Mole Creek Post Office opened on 28 May 1884. A railway was opened to Mole Creek on 5 April 1890. Throughout its existence, it carried mostly timber destined for the paper mill at Burnie and, in later days, woodchips for Bell Bay. Passenger services were mostly railcars after the 1920s. The line closed in 1992, it having been out of service since 1985.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by Australian Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
