Moapa Town is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clark County, Nevada, United States. The population was 928 at the 2000 census. It is the largest town in Clark County by land area. Both the second and the third tallest structures in Nevada, the Moapa Entrevision Tower and the Moapa Kemp Tower respectively, are located in Moapa.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 150.8 square miles (390.5 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 928 people, 273 households, and 220 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 6.2 people per square mile (2.4/km²). There were 310 housing units at an average density of 2.1 per square mile (0.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 62.93% White, 0.22% African American, 1.40% Native American, 1.83% Asian, 0.65% Pacific Islander, 30.50% from other races, and 2.48% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 35.02% of the population.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Learn all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Moapa skate park.
