Millinocket is a former mill town in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. The population was 5,203 at the 2000 census. Millinocket is both a forest products and recreational area.
It was first settled in 1829 by Thomas Fowler and his family, who cleared land for a farm. When the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad extended service to Houlton in 1894, the line ran through the area, opening it to development. Charles W. Discover Skateboarding in a Week-Long School

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
