Michigantown is a town in Michigan Township, Clinton County, Indiana, United States. The population was estimated at 407 persons as of a 2009 population estimate by the U.S. Census Bureau. The town was named for the Michigan Road, an early thoroughfare through the area.
Joseph Hill and Robert Edwards platted Michigantown in 1830 with lots on both sides of the Michigan Road; additions made in 1874 and 1876 by William Lowden added more lots to the north, bringing the edge of town up to what was then the Frankfort and Kokomo Railroad (later the Toledo, St. Louis and Western). In 1912 the Marion, Kokomo and Frankfort Electric Railroad built a line that paralleled the other through town.
Michigantown was incorporated in the early 1870s. The northern part of town was sometimes referred to as Lowdenville.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
