Merrimack is a town in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 25,494 at the 2010 census, making it the eighth-largest municipality in New Hampshire.
There are four villages in the town: Merrimack Village (formerly known as Souhegan Village), Thornton’s Ferry, Reed’s Ferry, and South Merrimack.
Human beings began to settle the area currently known as Merrimack sometime after the recession of the glaciers that had spread over much of New England during the last ice age. European settlers first came to the area in the late 17th century when the area was still in dispute between the Province of New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Merrimack was officially incorporated in 1746, a year largely regarded as Merrimack’s birthday, although only the southern portion (primarily what is known as Thornton’s Ferry) of the current boundaries of town was included in the original town, with the northern portion of what is now Merrimack (primarily what is known as…

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Merrimack skate park.
