Menahga is a city in Wadena County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,306 at the 2010 census.
Menahga means “blueberry bush” in the Chippewa language.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.9 square miles (10 km), of which, 3.7 square miles (9.6 km) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km) of it (5.10%) is water.
The Blueberry River flows through the city.
U.S. Route 71 and Minnesota State Highway 87 are two of the main routes in the city.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,220 people, 491 households, and 282 families residing in the city. The population density was 328.3 people per square mile (126.6/km²). There were 556 housing units at an average density of 149.6 per square mile (57.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.36% White, 0.08% African American, 0.98% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.08% from other races, and 0.41% from two or more races. Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Learn all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Menahga skate park.
