Meggett is a town in Charleston County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 1,230 at the 2000 census. As defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, and used by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistical purposes only, Meggett is included within the Charleston-North Charleston-Summerville metropolitan area.
Meggett is located at 32°42′20″N 80°15′47″W / 32.70556°N 80.26306°W / 32.70556; -80.26306 (32.705515, -80.263106).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 14.8 square miles (38.4 km²), of which, 14.6 square miles (37.7 km²) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.7 km²) of it (1.82%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,230 people, 484 households, and 377 families residing in the town. The population density was 84.4 people per square mile (32.6/km²). There were 540 housing units at an average density of 37.1 per square mile (14.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 78.78% White, 20.24% African American, 0.41%…

A 2023 report by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
