Maza is a former city in Towner County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 5 at the 2000 census. Maza was founded in 1893. Maza was incorporated as a city until 2002, when the city was dissolved and governance reverted to the surrounding Maza Township. Maza shares a zip code of 58324 with the city of Cando to the north.
Maza was one of only 8 places in the United States with a population of five people at the 2000 census. The others are Storrie, California; Bear Head Lake, Minnesota; Baker, Missouri; Gross, Nebraska; Odell, New Hampshire; Somerset, Vermont; and Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
Maza is located at 48°23′33″N 99°11′39″W / 48.3925°N 99.19417°W / 48.3925; -99.19417 (48.392442, -99.194052).
According to the United States Census Bureau, in 2000 the city had a total area of 9.1 square miles (24 km), of which, 8.2 square miles (21 km) of it was land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km) of it was water.

A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop.   • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
