Manvel is a city in Brazoria County, Texas, United States. The current population is approximately 7,160 as of April 2008, a 235% growth over the 3,046 population recorded in the last official US Census in 2000.
Manvel is located at 29°28′45″N 95°21′23″W / 29.47917°N 95.35639°W / 29.47917; -95.35639 (29.479200, -95.356299).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 23.3 square miles (60 km), all of it land.
As of an April 2008 local government estimate, the population is around 7,160. The previous official census estimate census in 2000, listed the population as 3,046 people, 1,085 households, and 870 families residing in the city. The population density is now 220 people per square mile, an increase over 130.7 people per square mile (50.5/km²) in 2000. There were 1,148 housing units at an average density of 49.3 per square mile (19.0/km²). Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Be taught all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Manvel skate park.
