Louann is a town in Ouachita County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 195 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Camden Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Louann is located at 33°23′30″N 92°47′34″W / 33.39167°N 92.79278°W / 33.39167; -92.79278 (33.391712, -92.792909).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 195 people, 71 households, and 57 families residing in the town. The population density was 313.7/km² (822.4/mi²). There were 88 housing units at an average density of 141.6/km² (371.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 62.56% White, 36.41% Black or African American, 0.51% Native American, and 0.51% from two or more races.
There were 71 households out of which 36.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.5% were married couples living together, 25.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.7% were non-families. 19.7% of all households…

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Learn all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
