Lilburn is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, in the United States. The population was 11,596 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Lilburn is located at 33°53′20″N 84°8′27″W / 33.88889°N 84.14083°W / 33.88889; -84.14083 (33.888853, -84.140897).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.2 square miles (16.1 km²), of which, 6.2 square miles (15.9 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.81%) is water.
The city of Lilburn was founded in 1890 by the Seaboard Airline Railway. The area previously known as McDaniel was renamed Lilburn, after the general superintendent of the railroad, Lilburn Trigg Myers of Virginia. (The basis of the name change got no official mention at the time, and historical researchers did not confirm the specific link to Myers until the 1990s.) The town prospered and was incorporated as Lilburn on July 27, 1910.

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
