Kerrick is a city in Pine County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 65 at the 2010 census.
Minnesota State Highway 23 serves as a main arterial route in the community.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km), all of it land.
The city was named in honor of Cassius M. Kerrick, a master mechanic and conductor for the Great Northern Railway. However, originally the name “Kerrick” was applied to the neighboring Duquette. When the Great Northern Railway depot was moved three miles south, keeping that name, for a period Duquette was called Old Kerrick, the new site being called New Kerrick; the names were corrected when the Duquette post office was established in 1905.
As of the census of 2000, there were 71 people, 28 households, and 19 families residing in the city. The population density was 71.0 people per square mile (27.4/km²). There were 34 housing units at an average density of 34.0 per square mile (13.1/km²). The…

Learn all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Kerrick skate park.
