Ixonia is a town in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,902 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated communities of Ixonia and Pipersville are located within the town.
The Town of Ixonia was organized on February 12, 1841 as the town of Union. The town of Union was divided five years later into two new towns and the name “Ixonia” was given to one of them on January 21, 1846.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.5 square miles (94.6 km²), of which, 35.9 square miles (93.1 km²) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.6 km²) of it (1.64%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,902 people, 1,047 households, and 864 families residing in the town. The population density was 80.7 people per square mile (31.2/km²). There were 1,082 housing units at an average density of 11.6 persons/km² (30.1 persons/sq mi). Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Ixonia skate park.
